Nitrous Oxide

Most “street” cars can safely run on a 50 to 125 shot, although we highly recommend custom tuning on any shots over 100 to pull the right amount of timing for safety. We also offer ways to keep your normal tune, and then activate a “nitrous” tune on the fly! We also offer a variety of Nitrous Controllers and Timing Retard/Advance Boxes. Don’t forget about Window RPM Switches and WOT Boxes! Just let us know what you want your car to do, and we will recommend the best brand and options for what your goals are, as well as give you options because there are so many ways to safely run nitrous all while staying on a budget.

For all of our NOS installs we offer 10lbs or 15lbs bottles (other sizes are available). Most of our installations, very neatly places the bottle in the trunk off to the left or right side near the front of the trunk area. The bottle can then be easily accessed and removed very comfortably by folding down the seat and dealing with it from within the back seat area of the car. However, we can mount it wherever your heart desires. 

Featured Systems:

These ZEX Blackout nitrous systems are unprecedented for looks, performance, and power potential. This feature automatically adjusts nitrous fuel enrichment so that your engine never runs too rich or too lean. ZEX Blackout nitrous systems feature a throttle-by-wire compatible electronic TPS switch for system activation at wide-open throttle. Power settings vary for each application-specific kit and they come complete with the appropriate tuning jets, as well as fuel tap fittings, solenoids, filters, and necessary activation electronics. Custom Installs:

In some applications, we offer a multi-function Nitrous Progressive Controller that ties into the stock electronics, and is used to progressively control NOS flow, and at what RPM it starts to flow, and also at what RPM it is turned off just before the REV limiters or shift points (for an example).

We also offer some unique methods to pull the appropriate amount of ignition timing ONLY when the Nitrous Oxide system is flowing. In some of the Late Model LS applications, we can electronically feed into the IAT sensor which monitors the inlet air temperature and then trick that sensor into communicating to the ECU that the inlet air temperate has increased significantly (160+ degrees) ONLY when the Nitrous System is “ARMED”. This requires professional custom tuning specific to your exact system, mods, and car. At the end of the day, this allows us to continue to run on a more aggressive spark curve for daily driving, and instantly “arm” to what we want for ignition timing (retarded) only when the Nitrous System is ACTIVE, which gives us the best of both worlds!
